 24 December 2004, 6:44 PM on christmas morning, outside was pouring ♪: jimmy eat world - 12.23.95 yesterday afternoon they had this really hilarious student life assembly... a bunch of random stuff that made me laugh really hard. my christmas present came on the screen followed by adam. and i was happy. tres contente. then it was teresa's party. i went from 6 to 11. we went caroling and watched napoleon dynamite. i'm glad i saw it, but honestly, i think it's overrated. nate was there. he is so gorgeous. when we were watching the movie he was falling asleep and i wanted nothing more than to jump on him and have my wicked way with him (and i'm sure i wasn't the only one). anyway, yeah. i didn't sleep over cause my mom was being dumb. today i had to spend ALL DAY getting ready for my relatives to come over. they're fun people, but SOOOO exhausting. my grandma's still here, actually... anyhoo, alex is really fat but he was happy when i held him, for once. and i actually got presents :) a hat box and some soap. i like smelly stuff, and i just broke my old hat box, so it's cool. hahaha... so pretty soon we're going to church and then i get to come home and open a present and then... can't wait for tomorrow! happy hannukwansmas, everyone. xoxo 22 December 2004, 4:45 PM close your eyes, just settle ♪: taking back sunday - this photograph is proof (i know you know) (acoustic on MTV.com) the trip got permanently cancelled. everyone was pretty pissed, but i was actually okay with it, because i wasn't going to go anyway. the roads are getting horrendous right about now... so yeah, i guess it was a good decision, because we'd be coming back in an hour or so, methinks. yesterday a bunch of people came over to my house to study biology. we didn't cover everything so i spent a couple more hours doing it, and didn't have time to read 'the yearling' for english (thank god i finished my math!), so i failed the quiz today. but i think everyone did, even the ones that had read it. anyhoo, the bio test was absolutely ridiculous. the whole first two sections were on stuff that wasn't in ANY of the bio books, and that he hadn't taught us or given us in notes... ridiculous. i made educated guesses, and i guess it paid off, cause when i went in to see my grade he was like, "annie! beautiful, beautiful. great job." and i was kinda going, "seriously? i thought it was terrible! are you being sarcastic?" but apparently my essays saved my ass, cause i got an 86% :) i was REALLY hoping for an A, but this is good enough, because i still have a high B. niiiice. i took out all of my anger (from the stupid test and other things) during badminton and whooped some ass. i'm 2 and 2, soon to be 3 and 2 (after christmas vacation; we're halfway through the game and i only have gym tuesdays and wednesdays). one more day... haha, my dad bought my mom a purple fish for an early christmas present XD. i find that hilarious. xoxo 20 December 2004, 9:22 PM maybe when im done with endings this can begin ♪: something corporate - punk rock princess this morning i got up at 5:30 in order to do my hair and get everything ready for the trip. julia picked me up at 7, and of course, i didn't take any stuff with me. BWA. so we're leaving town, and i'm all rockin' to my TBS and everything, and all of a sudden mrs. c stands up and goes "okay, people, the performance is cancelled. we're going back to school. please get in touch with your parents if you have cell phones..." blah. so i had to call my mum, and she brought me my stuff, but not til 2nd period. going to class was SUCH a drag. and it was stressful... but only becuase i'm like that. and fish left me all by myself in science with my madabob in his tie again... black shirt with tie. *trembles* yes. yes. yes. dance was good today, because we basically had our christmas party. liz told us a story about tracey chasing a bunch of middle school boys down the street at 3:30 in the morning (in her pajamas!) because they stole her tree... HILARIOUS crap. speaking of, i swore in front of my mom and she nearly flipped on me, which surprised me. lol. deb made me a FUN FUR scarf that i'm absolutely in love with... i'm definitely wearing it all day at school tomorrow :) xoxo 18 December 2004, 10:21 PM stutter-step to those slammin grooves ♪: taking back sunday - little devotional busy, busy day. and last night was, too. right after school, i got off the bus (which is mine) and went to teresa's. we goofed around for awhile and then we started to have to greet people for the professor party (hosted at her house; my parents were there, too, haha). we went to the game a little before 7:30... no madabob, no eagle. we won, though. 6-0; GO BULLDOGS! XD the 'dance' was incredibly lame, so we left after 5 minutes (thank god for candace and her cell). then we just went back to t's house and played the game of life on the computer til like 11, lols. today at 11, me, rachel, em, and sarah went over to jill and john's to help jill make cookies... we made 12 dozen and then some and i ate soooo much cookie dough and got horribly sick. i really haven't eaten properly in like 3 days, and i had leah weekend before that... anyhoo, a little after 2, i went to fish's and taught her a bit (well, half) of the biology. what FUN! we watched the steelers/giants game, too. it was perfect, really: i decided by the end that i wanted the steelers to win, but i was happy cause the giants did really well. everyone around here is SO happy that the steelers are so great this year. it's really sad. after that my mommy took me out to b-dalton and i got some books for people... then it was off to sarah's christmas party! hooray! we all sat in the computer room (rachel had to type her english essay on account'a she's a'leavin' fur LONDON tumarrah.) and played taboo and listened to TBS and john mayer. woot. yeah... i'm not looking forward to doing all my homework tomorrow. :/ xoxo 16 December 2004, 10:02 PM this is fact, not fiction, for the first time in years ♪: the killers - mr brightside OH, DEAR GOD. ANNIE IS BLOGGING. i skipped dance monday night because of the weather, and loads of homework. and that's all there was on monday. tuesday morning we had a 2-hour delay, so i got 2 extra hours of sleep. very nice. but that night, nobody got home til like 5, and we were supposed to go down to christa's. we finally did, but it took forever and we stayed a long time and didn't get back til 11... yeah, anyway, luke is the cutest small child in the world. no, really. i'm not just saying that. and i hadn't seen him since february 26 (dave day.) turns out there was improv yesterday, and of course, patrick was there. i spent the whole time with emily and totally ignored him, although, afterword, i was extremely pissed and threw my coat on the ground as hard as i could. he was playing guitar and i wanted to scream. and then he had to waltz up right next to me and start changing his shirt... dammit... JUST GO THE FUCK AWAY! last night i did some last minute christmas shopping. we went to kohl's, and i put on my boyfriend's cologne from seventh grade (can still smell it a bit; my soap is unscented). it made me all nostalgic. he's still lovely and dorky, by the way. the oc is majorly fucked up, but i love it dearly.
