yesterday was absolutely crazy. well, the evening part, anyway. so basically, julia had called me earlier in the day and semi-invited me to go to the fair with her; we just planned to meet up, i guess. i wasn't sure if it was for sure, but teresa called me in the afternoon and asked if i was planning to go cuz she was there with donnelle. i told her i might come up later with julia, but i didn't know what time. so anyways, i get on msn with fishie and we decide we want to go together, so i call julia and we work that out... it was a LOT crazier than i make it sound, crazy phonecalls and callbacks and msn-ing, but eventually fishie and me were on our way to the fairgrounds, planning to hook up with t+j. we walked around for awhile, saw zack and some other people we didn't want to see (but no adam... oh well, next time) and finally (to make a long story short) found teresa and julia. we walked around for a little bit and then decided we wanted to do some kind of sleepover that night... basically, we voted teresa's or julia's as backup. so my mom ended up taking everyone home, cuz i have permission to offer rides to anyone whenever, wherever. anyway, we went to t's first; we couldn't stay there, but my mom had to go in and see the house (they remodeled), so we hung out there while she got her stuff and stuff, went to my house to get mine, called fishie's mom to get permission for her, dropped julia at her house to set up, went to fishie's, and came back to julia's; all miraculously before 10 PM! w00t! so we just stayed up talking til 4:30... and then slept for 5 hours. funfunfun. i kinda wish alibob had been there but everything was so lastminute and it just got crazy... some other time, eh?

i honestly had more last night.

yesterday i did go to mary and todd's thing and i did get stuck playing babysitter, but that's okay because i love the kids. isaiah (age 5) was trying to get me to play with him cuz he loves me, which is adorable, but nobody was looking after tommy (age 1; when he saw me he reached his arms out to me and made me pick him up, AWW) so i took that job while trying to amuse sarah (age 7) and isaiah. we were all on the trampoline and i was trying to bounce sarah while holding tommy and trying to get him to not choke on his 'ba ba' (bottle; yes, i am amazing at baby talk). i would bounce him up and down and by the third or fourth time we did "whee" he was saying "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, WHEE!" along with me XD i think he said 'annie', too... hehe. i did get some time to play with sarah and 'saiah in the sand, but after that i took tommy on a walk down to the pond. he wanted to go in but i obviously wouldn't let him so i took him to the edge where it was most shallow and swung him by the arms (yes, i was careful not to let go... :P) and he laughed and laughed. it was adorable. after carrying him for awhile he started to get really heavy so i tried to put him down but he made cutest little whining noises and grabbed onto me so i just decided to let my arms break... it was probably for the better anyway. i never did get to really hold alex, though, (i did for about 2 seconds before he threw a fit cuz mary hadn't fed him enough) which made me sad, but it's okay. i'll get to see him later.

you know the truth? i really don't mind being babysitter.

in a few minutes i'm going to work with my mom, because i'm bored and have nothing better to do. then at like 2:30 we're going up to dan and kate's for mary and todd's late wedding reception. i guess they never got to invite everyone this winter, when they actually got married, so dan and kate offered to throw everyone that wasn't invited a big reception and even though we were invited to the actual wedding, we're going. oh well, alex will be there. he smiles at you now, it is SOOOOO adorable.

i want to go to the fair tonight!!! you see, my town is famous for just about three things: the music scene, being an ex-tool and die town, and the fair. we're getting a lame 80s band this year, as usual... and i'll be able to hear them at my house. wonderful. but for some reason (i guess it's just the fact that i'm local) i'm really excited to go and see everybody and everything. so go me.

i am officially addicted to the emo game. but i get sad every time i kill adam. oh, and does anyone know how to beat the ben affleck riddle?

i am so fucking annoyed right now... i woke up this morning to the LOUDEST construction workers EVER next door. the best part was, the windows in my room are open and they're OLD windows so i can't figure out how to close them. i guess they're tearing down a tree or something, but they haven't yet turned down their big stupid giant machine and it's been like 2 hours. anyway, when i think it can't get any worse, they turn on their LOUDER machine, and when THAT finally stops somebody's fucking car alarm decides to go off for at least two minutes. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. and of course, it went back and forth from the uberloud machine to the car alarm for quite some time... which just made me feel peachy. i eventually gave up on sleeping and decided to come down here without showering, which is a big deal for me...

UGH, anyway, yesterday i got to go school shopping, finally. i got some really nice shirts from old navy and a pair of AE jeans and i don't care what you say XP ooh, and this really nice olive green jacket. i like green now. pfft. and i got home and made macaroni and cheese and started "about a boy", curled up on my loveseat with a blanket. i do NOT want summer to end.

so i just got back from orientation... how FUN! not. it just makes me SO EXCITED for the start of school. -rolls eyes- but i do have good news! i've got at least one class with teresa, whitney, olivia, alexis, ashley, abby, katie, lauren, and some others... BUT NO ALI-BOB! -cries- maybe we'll have lunch together... oh well, here's my schedule:

i'm so nervous about this year. i want at least one class with adam (who i didn't see today, by the way, even though i was extremely paranoid) and THEN it would be perfect. oh, and at least a class with ali-bob. but this is SO much better than last year, so at least i'm happy about that.
