![]() August 11, 2004, 1:30 p.m. with the sound of the ocean crashing... ♪: music? nada. hey guys! here i am in a lovely little internet cafe with a nice window to look out of. it's kind of a mall place, but really small and nice. i just went shopping and got a bag and some pins and some other crap, a toy for maggie, etc... haven't been doing many unusual things. we go to the pond every day, and then hang out at the beach. yesterday was my b-day so leah and i went sailing. great fun, that. i'm a little sailor girl! :P i got my digital camera (finally), a bag, and some other small things. not the most exciting birthday PRESENTS, but they day was actually one of my favorites ever. which was nice. i miss my connection to the outside world, and my puppy, and i'm actually pretty homesick. i can't wait to see everybody. leah's great to hang out with and all but miss ALL my friends. it's okay that i don't have any e-mails or anything... i'm self-centered to expect anything, anyway. (and no, that wasn't sarcasm.) see you soon xoxo
hooooooollllyyyy shit. if you EVER get the chance to see taking back sunday live, DO IT. we just got back from warped. i was totally psyched when i found out that they were doing a signing, so i bought a new t-shirt (it has sheep on it and it says 'to hell with you and all your friends' and it's navy blue :D) for them to sign. we wandered around for a little while, eating and watching various bands, and then we went to stand in line for the TBS signing (an hour and fifteen minutes early... but it was SO worth it). when they came out (after what seemed like FOREVER) everyone screamed and adam screamed back at us :D he has the coolest sunglasses in the whole world. and really big teeth. but that's beside the point. anyway, when i got my shirt signed: {matt: "how are you"; me: "great, how are you? you guys, like, rule the world and then some."; mark: "do you have the new album?"; me: "what?" -leans in-; mark: "do you have the new album?" me: "yeah! it's sooo awesome, i love it, i listen to it like sixteen times every day."; fred: "here ya go." -smiles-; me: "thanks!"} heh, it's sad that i remember that, but it's not often that you meet your favorite band of a year and a half. so we ended up watching coheed and cambria, anti-flag, sugarcult, yellowcard, and TBS. my dad saw the (international) noise conspiracy and rise against while we were at the signing. anyway, TBS KICKS ASS live. i love the way adam moves, and fred is SO cool, and i don't think i've ever screamed that much in my life. they played (not in order): cute without the e, great romances of the 20th century, timberwolves at new jersey, you're so last summer, set phasers to stun, bonus mosh pt. 2, a decade under the influence, and one-eighty by summer. W0000T!!!! i wantd to see i am fred astaire, though. :( my whole head is sore and so are my legs but it was sooooo worth it. tomorrow morning we leave for cape cod. next week i'll have access to a computer in p-town, some day, and i'll most likely blog, but i won't be home til the 14th and i won't really be alive til the 15th. have fun, you sexy bitches. xoxo
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey. 'sup? so yesterday i went golfing with my grandparents, dad and aunt. i drove the cart and didn't wreck it and felt special. :P then we went out for lunch, and there was nothing really special about that, 'cept chrissie looks really scary without makeup. lol. later that night me mum and me went out to wal-mart and k-mart, trying to get 'your favorite weapon', but that didn't work at all, so i just got some purdy nail polish. coral-ish, yellow, purple, and dark red. -is happy- i needed some bad. really late last night, i found the AP article scanned at bonusmosh and realized (for the trillionth time) that adam lazzara is really, really sexy. the launch performance and interview started working, too, and i had the same epiphany :P today i went swimming with my mom and grandma and painted my toenails and got my hair cut. it's more layered than before, and shorter, and i got this awesome 'product' (i love you, kyan!) that makes my hair look SO AWESOME. it's all touseled and (how did they describe it? oh yeah) has that all-day-at-the-beach look. yaaaaaaay. warped is thursday and then cape cod and i have a LOT of things i need to do before then and they aren't going to get done. i want a north carolina t-shirt. xoxo
mm... yesterday was chaotic. julia came over early in the morning, cuz her parents had to go somewhere for the day. we were gonna go up to the lake but it rained like a bitch all day, of course. so we just hung out all morning and then went out for lunch at the bagel shop. after that we called up teresa and went swimming at the rec. i hate the rec, but the other pool wasn't open. luckily there was nobody there since it was such a shitty day. ian and drew are in florida, so i didn't get to see them, but it's okay. then we went to see 'the village'... it was really good. i love the intersting twists and the plot and the characters. and now i REALLY want adrian brody to play a young james potter in the fifth HP movie, if there is one. finally we went to see the play and dan was happy :) rachel was there too, but she'd seen it already. everyone did SO awesome, especially brandon and katherine. it was soooo funny too. i loved it. i'd go again but my mom won't let me cuz it's expensive... anyway i got hugs from everyone and felt loved and i needed that. this afternoon i went to rachel & emily's for a little while and we sat on the trampoline and made bracelets and watched part of a movie and ate bagels. i love bagels. :P i have decided that august is my favorite month. my b-day, cape cod, the hottest days of the year, fair week... who could ask for more? xoxo
the performance went really well, i'm so happy! in the beginning i kinda had to lurk around with patrick cuz we were both waiting to talk to the same people, and it was really awkward. he like jumped in front of me and smiled at me and stuff and was acting weird. and it was odd. yeah. he was singing and dancing like elvis and it frightened me. anyway, we had to redo the red group theater piece cuz it "offended" jan, but it all worked out okay. apprentices were AWESOME. it was the best rendition of entropy death we've EVER done, which is saying something. i had so much fun with it. i got to hug everyone goodbye but i'll see most of them tomorrow and then again on wednesday. which is nifty. upstairs, i was like "WHO HAVEN'T I HUGGED YET?!" and then patrick kinda looked at me and i just said "nevermind! don't answer that!" later he came up to all of us and said "good show" and i just said "thanks", all normal, and i was proud of myself. i don't have to see him again til at least the dance intensive, which is the week of the umm, 15th, unless he's at improv next week. oh well. it's over, and i'm sad, but it was totally worth it and i'm just really satisfied. we all went out for ice cream and hugged the crap out of each other and it was just really nice. :)
